Ergin İnan, graduated from the Istanbul Academy of Applied Arts in 1968. In addition to the Fine Arts Academies of Berlin and Munich, he taught at Marmara University and at the Berlin School of Applied Arts. For the past 30 years, İnan’s works have been exhibited in various international centre of art, among them Berlin, Munich, Leningrad, Moscow, Paris, San Francisco, New York and Stuttgart. In Turkey, his works are represented in the Central Bank Contemporary Turkish Art Collection; in the National Museum of Painting and Sculpture in Ankara and in Istanbul; and in Istanbul Modern -Istanbul Museum of Modern Art-;
whereas overseas İnan’s works are collected and displayed by Berlin, Munich, London, Cleveland, Cul des Sarts (Belgium) and Fredrikstad (Norway) museums. İnan continues working in Istanbul, as well as in his atelier at Berlin.
